When you share your name and email with us, we use them to respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about. This policy explains what happens to that information.

Who is responsible

Dripish LLP is an app development studio based in Kenya and the controller of personal information we collect through dripish.africa and our lead forms on Facebook and Instagram (Meta), including enquiries from people in the United Kingdom.

What we collect and where it comes from

• Contact details: your name and email address, provided by you on our website or submitted through a Meta lead form.
• Enquiry details: any company, country, project description, service preferences, budget, timeline or estimate you choose to share, and our correspondence with you.
• Campaign information: referral information and campaign tags attached to your visit or lead, to understand which adverts generate enquiries.
• Technical information: IP address, browser information and server request logs used to operate and protect the website. Website brief submissions record an IP address and browser user agent.

Meta may prefill a lead form using your profile details. Check those details before submitting. You can browse our site without sending an enquiry; we need an email address to reply by email. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in your enquiry.

Why we use it

We use your details to acknowledge and answer your enquiry, understand your project, prepare a quote and discuss working together. Where this involves steps you request before entering a contract, our lawful basis is taking those steps. For business enquiries made on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients.

We also rely on legitimate interests to keep enquiry records, understand campaign performance, prevent spam and protect our services, taking account of your rights. Where a legal obligation requires us to retain or disclose information, we rely on that obligation.

Meta adverts and email marketing

If you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta makes the information you submit available to Dripish so we can follow up on the enquiry described in the form. Meta also processes information under its own privacy policy.

Submitting an enquiry is not a subscription to a newsletter or unrelated promotional emails. If we ask to send ongoing email marketing, we will ask for a separate opt-in and rely on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us or using an unsubscribe option in the message, without affecting earlier lawful use.

You can object to direct marketing at any time. Email studio@dripish.africa and tell us to stop.

Who receives your information

Your information is available to the people at Dripish who handle enquiries and to service providers supporting hosting, data storage and email delivery. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations or protect legal rights. We do not sell your name or email address.

Where information is handled

Dripish operates from Kenya, so information you send us may be accessed and handled outside the UK. Hosting, email providers and Meta may also process information in other countries. Different countries have different data protection laws. Where UK rules require safeguards for a restricted international transfer, the applicable safeguards must be in place, such as approved contractual terms or an adequacy decision. Contact us for details of the destinations and safeguards relevant to your information.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to handle your request and relevant follow-up. In deciding when it is no longer needed, we consider whether discussions are active, whether you become a client, and whether records are needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. Client and transaction records may need to be kept longer for those purposes. You can ask us to delete an enquiry that is no longer needed.

Cookies and browser storage

The website uses browser storage to remember a theme preference. Its campaign attribution feature stores campaign tags and referral information locally, treating them as expired after 30 days, and attaches available attribution to a submitted brief. Staff sign-in uses session and security cookies. This privacy page does not load advertising trackers or set browser storage.

You can clear stored website data through your browser settings. Meta's own websites and apps have their own cookie and advertising controls.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of use, or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where we rely on it. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions.

Email studio@dripish.africa to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is needed, we will explain why.

If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can contact us first, but do not have to.

Automated decisions

The enquiry system uses automatic spam checks and lead flags to help organise submissions. These may suppress an automatic acknowledgement; people handle project discussions and quotes. We do not make solely automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Changes to this policy

We will publish updates here with a revised date. If we plan a materially different use of your information, we will provide appropriate notice and seek consent where required.
